Last Updated: September 11, 2026
Welcome to Northpark Containers, accessible through northparkcontainers.com. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and your purchase of shipping containers, container homes, and related products and delivery services.
By accessing our website, requesting a quotation, placing an order, or purchasing a product from Northpark Containers, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or place an order.
1. Business Information
Northpark Containers is a business based in Mt. Olive, North Carolina. References to “Northpark Containers,” “Northpark,” “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to Northpark Containers.
By using our website or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
2. Products and Product Information
Northpark Containers offers shipping containers, container homes, storage containers, and related products.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs, dimensions, colors, availability, and other information displayed on our website are accurate and current. However, minor differences may occur due to manufacturing tolerances, photography, screen settings, inventory variations, or supplier updates.
Product availability may change without notice.
Container Grades and Conditions
Where applicable, containers may be described using industry-standard terms such as:
- One-Trip / New: A container manufactured overseas and generally shipped to the United States once before being offered for sale.
- Cargo Worthy (CW): A used container that meets applicable structural and condition requirements for cargo transport.
- Wind & Watertight (WWT): A used container intended to provide protection from normal weather conditions, with functioning doors and seals and without significant holes or openings.
- Refurbished: A previously used container that has been cleaned, repaired as applicable, and may be primed and/or repainted.
Used containers may show normal signs of previous use, including surface rust, dents, scratches, fading, patches, and other cosmetic imperfections. Such characteristics do not necessarily constitute a defect.
Specific product condition and specifications are determined by the product description, quotation, invoice, or other written documentation provided for the particular order.
3. Pricing and Payment
Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed on our website are in U.S. dollars (USD).
Prices may change without notice before an order is confirmed. Once an order has been accepted and confirmed, the applicable price will be reflected in the customer’s order confirmation, invoice, or Proforma Invoice.
Payment Methods
Northpark Containers currently accepts wire transfer/bank transfer payments.
Payment instructions will be provided with the applicable invoice or Proforma Invoice. Customers should use only the payment information provided through official Northpark Containers communications.
An order is not considered fully confirmed until the required payment or deposit has been received and verified by Northpark Containers.
For orders requiring a deposit or staged payments, the applicable payment schedule will be stated on the invoice or Proforma Invoice.
4. Shipping and Delivery
Where expressly stated on the applicable product page or quotation, free standard shipping may be included in the advertised price.
Free shipping generally applies to eligible delivery locations within the contiguous United States (Lower 48 states). Certain remote, restricted, difficult-to-access, or non-standard delivery locations may require additional transportation or access charges.
Any additional delivery charges that are identified before order confirmation will be communicated to the customer.
Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times vary by product, destination, carrier availability, weather, transportation conditions, and other circumstances.
Unless a different timeframe is specifically stated in writing, standard container deliveries are generally estimated at approximately 4–10 business days after the order has been processed and the required payment has been received.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates unless Northpark Containers expressly confirms a guaranteed date in writing.
Delays may occur because of weather, traffic, carrier scheduling, mechanical issues, port congestion, holidays, road restrictions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
5. Customer Site Preparation
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is properly prepared before the scheduled delivery.
The delivery site should:
- Be level and sufficiently stable to support the container and delivery equipment.
- Have suitable access for the delivery truck and unloading equipment.
- Have sufficient clearance for the delivery vehicle and container.
- Be free of obstacles such as low branches, wires, structures, vehicles, or other hazards.
- Comply with applicable local zoning, permitting, building, and property requirements.
Customers are responsible for verifying that the selected container can be legally placed and used at the intended property.
The customer should communicate any site restrictions, narrow roads, gates, overhead obstructions, steep grades, soft ground, or other access concerns before delivery.
If a delivery cannot safely be completed because the site is inaccessible, improperly prepared, or presents a safety risk, additional delivery arrangements or charges may apply.
Northpark Containers and its transportation providers are not responsible for damage resulting from conditions at a delivery site that was not properly prepared or disclosed.
6. Delivery Inspection
Customers or their authorized representatives should inspect the container or product upon delivery, where reasonably possible.
Any visible damage or delivery-related issue should be documented and reported to Northpark Containers as soon as reasonably possible, preferably with photographs and a description of the issue.
Failure to report an apparent delivery issue promptly may make it more difficult to investigate or resolve a claim.
7. Orders and Order Confirmation
Submitting an order through our website constitutes a request to purchase a product. Northpark Containers reserves the right to review and accept or decline an order before final confirmation.
An order may be confirmed through an order confirmation, invoice, Proforma Invoice, or other written communication from Northpark Containers.
If there is a discrepancy between website information and the customer’s final invoice or written order confirmation, the final written documentation provided by Northpark Containers will govern unless otherwise required by applicable law.
8. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Cancellations, returns, exchanges, and refunds are subject to our applicable Return & Refund Policy and the terms stated on the customer’s invoice or order confirmation.
Because containers and container homes are large, specialized products that may require transportation and logistical arrangements, cancellation and return conditions may vary depending on the product, order status, and whether delivery or transportation arrangements have already been made.
Customers should review the applicable Return & Refund Policy before placing an order.
Approved refunds, where applicable, will be issued using the payment method or process available for the original transaction, subject to applicable banking processing times.
Certain products may be non-returnable or subject to specific return conditions. Any product-specific limitations will be disclosed where applicable.
9. Permits, Zoning and Installation
The customer is solely responsible for determining whether a shipping container, container home, storage container, or other purchased product is permitted at the intended property.
Customers are responsible for obtaining any required:
- Building permits
- Zoning approvals
- Planning approvals
- Utility approvals
- Electrical permits
- Plumbing permits
- Foundation approvals
- Installation approvals
- Homeowners’ association approvals
- Other governmental or property-related permissions
Northpark Containers does not guarantee that a particular product will be approved for use at a customer’s property.
Unless expressly included in a written quotation or order agreement, site preparation, foundation work, utility connections, permits, cranes, special equipment, and installation services are the customer’s responsibility.
10. Product Use and Modification
Customers are responsible for using purchased products safely and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, manufacturer instructions, and industry requirements.
Any modification, alteration, conversion, installation, or structural change performed by the customer or a third party is the customer’s responsibility unless expressly performed or authorized in writing by Northpark Containers.
Unauthorized modifications may affect applicable warranties or claims.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Northpark Containers will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the purchase, delivery, installation, use, inability to use, or modification of a product.
This may include, where permitted by law, loss of business, loss of profits, loss of use, or other consequential losses.
Northpark Containers is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, transportation delays, traffic, port congestion, carrier issues, mechanical failures, labor disruptions, government actions, or other unforeseen events.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
12. Warranties and Product Claims
Any manufacturer warranty or Northpark Containers warranty applicable to a particular product will be governed by the terms of that warranty.
Except where expressly stated in writing, Northpark Containers does not provide additional warranties beyond those required by applicable law or specifically provided with the product.
Customers should contact Northpark Containers promptly if they believe a product has a defect or does not conform to the applicable order documentation.

17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
